The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology invites nominations for the Bert M Glaser award for innovative research in retina. This recognises an early-career investigator for the discovery of a drug or technique or for the understanding of a mechanism of disease that has had an impact on the study and treatment of a retinal disease or condition.
Applicants may be basic or clinician scientists based anywhere in the world. They must be affiliated with a university, hospital, private practice or company, be a member of the association and be within five years of completion of a postdoctoral fellowship or clinical fellowship. The discovery must have taken place within five years of the date of application.
The award is worth USD 10,000.
