The National Library of Medicine and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) invite applications for the Michael E. DeBakey fellowships in the history of medicine. These support individuals in pursuing research in the library’s Michael E Debakey archives, which reflect the vast range of subjects from Michael E DeBakey’s professional career.
Research may address areas such as surgery, medical education and health care policy. Applicants may be of any discipline and status and may be based anywhere in the world.
Fellowships are worth up to USD 10,000 each to help offset costs associated with visiting and using the NLM collections during the calendar year following application and selection.
