Since 2004, The Harry J. Lloyd Charitable Trust granted 137 melanoma research grants totaling $17,097,631. Grant recipients are located throughout the world and include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Italy, Israel, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
The Melanoma Research Program is composed of different fundgn opportunities:
- Career development – may include salary support for promising young melanoma investigators;
- Basic Science – to gain new biological insights in to melanoma development or progression;
- Translational Research – to fund clinically important melanoma research.
