Japanese Respiratory Society – Harasawa fellowship

The Japanese Respiratory Society invites applications for the Harasawa fellowship. This aims to foster young researchers and specialised respiratory clinicians from countries other than Japan who wish to train in respiratory medicine in Japan.

In principle, applications are accepted from young investigators of countries represented by the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology and the Latin American Thoracic Society, but applicants from other countries will also be considered. Applicants must be under 40 years of age, be non-Japanese nationals residing outside Japan and have been accepted to a training institute in Japan. Applications must be submitted in English.

Two grants, worth JPY 1.5 million each, are available. The period of stay must be at least three months.

Deadline: 31st December 2021
