The European Food Safety Authority has launched a call for proposal on ” Survival of African swine fever virus in feed, bedding materials and mechanical vectors and their potential role in virus transmission“.
The call is restricted to the competent organisations established by the Authority’s Management
Board.
The main objectives of the call are:
- Assess the duration of ASFV survival in feed and bedding material (plantbased material);
- Assess the role of mechanical vectors in ASFV transmission
