The Australian Academy of Science invites applications for the Selby fellowship.
This enables overseas scientists to visit Australia for public lecture or seminar tours, and to visit scientific centres in Australia. Fellows are expected to increase public awareness of the natural sciences and scientific issues. Visits to as many areas of Australia as possible are encouraged.
Distinguished overseas scientists, who have a strong public lecturing abilities, may apply.
The fellowship is worth up to AUD 15,000 and covers economy airfares and living expenses for visits of between two weeks and three months.
