The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases and the International Network of Paediatric Surveillance Units invites applications for their infection surveillance research grant. This supports infection surveillance across two or more European countries and aims to facilitate infection surveillance research in Europe.
Applicants should be ESPID members in good standing. Applicants who have not previously received substantial research funding will be favoured. Projects must be directly relevant to paediatric infectious diseases. Applications should come from areas of Europe where there is currently little or no such work going on.
The grant covers administrative costs of the surveillance units, and a small amount of essential consumables of up to €20,000.
