Registrations are open for the National Info Day of the 2019-2020 calls for the EURATOM programme of Horizon 2020, to be held at ENEA (Central Hall, Lungotevere Thaon di Revel, 76 – Rome), on May 29th.
The EURATOM Work Program 2019-2020 has a total budget of around 133.9 million euros. The work program has a macro-area dedicated to radio protection and medical applications that will expire on September 25, 2019:
RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT
NFRP-12: Further integrating Radiation Protection research in the EU
NFRP-13: Research roadmap for medical applications of ionising radiation
NFRP-14: Improving low-dose radiation risk appraisal in medicine
The event is organized by the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE), site of the National Contact Points (NCP), on behalf of the MIUR in close collaboration with the National Representative Prof. Giacomo Cuttone and with the participation of the Officials of the European Commission.
The Information Day, which will take place from 09.00 to 13.30, will be divided into two parts, one dedicated to the presentation of the Work Program and the results of the previous calls and a second one, focused on the various European initiatives and platforms relevant to the sector.
