The Single European Sky ATM Joint Undertaking, under the engage programme, invites proposals for its catalyst funding. This aims to mature exploratory research further towards applications and operational contexts. Projects should address at least one of the following themes:
•vulnerabilities and global security of the communication, navigation and surveillance, and air traffic management system;
•data-driven trajectory problems;
•efficient provision and use of meteorological information in air traffic management;
•novel and more effective allocation markets in air traffic management.
Other proposals for projects moving solutions closer towards industry goals and objectives and higher technology readiness levels are also considered, but priority is given to those aligned with the thematic challenges.
Proposals may be submitted by a single entity or a consortium of between two and four entities. Each entity must be located in a country eligible to receive funding through H2020.
Grants are worth up to €60,000 over one year. Funding may be used for hosting technical meetings, carrying out data analyses or a user requirements survey.
Deadline: 6th April 2020.
