The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites nominations for the Bob Pinedo cancer care award. This recognises an internationally acclaimed researcher or research team currently active in the field of translational cancer research and compassionate cancer patient care.
Research institutes and individual researchers may nominate researchers and teams from anywhere in the world. Nominees must have an appointment at a research institute and the contributions for which they are nominated must have been made within the last 10 years.
The award is worth €100,000 and is expected to be used to finance a research project in the area of specialisation of the award winner.
