The European Commission announced a €10 million top-up for the MSCA4Ukraine initiative, funded through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe.
Since its launch, MSCA4Ukraine has supported 173 displaced Ukrainian researchers with an initial budget of €35 million. This additional funding will allow a selected organisation (or consortium) to offer new fellowships to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers from Ukraine.
Researchers will benefit from:
• Safe placement in EU- and Horizon Europe-associated institutions
• High-quality supervision
• Training and career development opportunities
• Excellent working conditions
• Family and special needs allowances for greater inclusivity
This initiative is a vital step in helping researchers continue their work in academia, industry, and public institutions—despite the ongoing war.
