La Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking, finanziata da Horizon Europe, ha aperto 3 nuovi bandi per promuovere la ricerca e l’innovazione nell’Africa sub-sahariana.
In particolare, i bandi HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2026-01-two-stage, HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2026-02-two-stage e HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2026-03 (HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2026-03) sono compresi nel programma di lavoro EDCTP3 2026 che, con un bilancio indicativo complessivo di 146,9 milioni di euro distribuiti su sei temi, rafforza l’impegno dell’UE a favore di partenariati collaborativi tra Africa ed Europa, in linea con la strategia dell’UE per la salute globale e l’agenda per l’innovazione UA-UE.
L’obiettivo è migliorare la capacità di risposta alle epidemie, rafforzare le reti di eccellenza regionale, sviluppare nuovi trattamenti e vaccini per malattie infettive e formare una nuova generazione di esperti in sanità pubblica.
