Abstract

The project will run from 2014 to 2018 with the purpose of strengthening partnerships between leading European and Asian Pacific research groups in the cutting-edge field of nanophotonics. By squeezing light down to the nanoscale, NANOPHI aims to challenge existing technological limits and help to deliver superior photonic devices. Opportunities range from telecommunications to health care.

Overall goals:
  • Foster international cooperation between universities in Australia and New Zealand and universities in EU countries;
  • Establish a common framework for education and training in the field of nanophotonics.
