following the adoption of Council Regulation (EU) 2021/2085 of 19 November 2021 (published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 30 November 2021), a new generation of Joint Undertakings was created under Horizon Europe, among them the European Partnership for Clean Aviation.
The Clean Sky 2 JU founding regulation N°558/2014 is repealed and replaced by the new Council Regulation 2021/2085 of 19/11/2021, therefore the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking is the legal and universal successor in respect of all contracts, grant agreements, and liabilities of the Clean Sky 2 Joint Undertaking.
The Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking will provide continued support to the respective research programmes by implementing the remaining actions under Horizon 2020 programme.
