The study by the EUA – European University Association entitled “The role of universities in regional innovation ecosystems” analyzes the role of universities in the new dynamics of innovation, focusing on the nature and safety of interactions between universities, businesses, government agencies and other public organizations in 9 European regions.
Universities, in fact, are always moving away from linear concepts of innovation, moving towards co-creation approaches with different external partners that energize them to acquire a new central role in innovation ecosystems.
