With Rector’s Decree n. 354 of 8 May 2019 a new international cooperation agreement was approved between our University and the University of Kitakyushu based in Kitakyushu (Japan), presented by Prof. Nicola Adami, a member of the Department of Information Engineering.
The University of Kitakyushu, founded in 1946, is a public university in Kitakyushu, Japan. The main campus is located near the Keibajomae station on the Kitakyushu monorail. The second campus is in the Wakamatsu-ku academic area, Kitakyushu called Gakujutsu Kenkyu Toshi. With the signing of this agreement, we intend to strengthen and encourage scientific and academic collaboration in common themes, particularly in the Image and Video Processing sector, also through the exchange of professors, researchers and students.
