On October 15th in Rome, at the CNR’s Marconi Aula (Piazzale Aldo Moro, 7), the National Day of Call 2020 of the SC5 Work Program will be launched: “Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials”.
The infoday organized by APRE on behalf of the MIUR and in close collaboration with Prof. Carlo Barbante, Representative of the specific Configuration and with the participation of the European Commission Officials foresees the presentation of the topics of the two main Building calls at low center of the day -carbon, climate resilient future: Climate action in support of the Paris Agreement and Greening the economy online with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a financing for only 2020 of 300 million euros.
The information day will be divided into two sessions, one morning and one afternoon.
During the morning session, which will start at 9.30 am, the topic calls 2020 will be presented on the Fifth Social Challenge of the Horizon 2020 program in the presence of European Commission officials.
In the second part of the morning, instead, two round tables will be coordinated. The second round table, instead, will give a perspective on the next Horizon Europe funding program. To participate, register in the morning on the APRE website.
Instead, the afternoon session will be dedicated to networking. Companies and researchers will have the opportunity, as in a real Marketplace, to present their project or / and skills ideas or select the technologies and expertise to complete their project idea. Through the “elevator pitches” it will be possible to present in 6 minutes one’s own project idea or skills / technologies to be offered in a research project SC5 H2020. The session will be in English and in the presence of some European NCPs who will attend the pitches in order to gather skills and competences to be integrated in the training consortia in their countries.
