The JPI Urban Europe has opened an online consultation to gather suggestions and opinions in preparation for the next call for projects for Research, Development and Innovation concerning urban mobility and accessibility.
Together with the European Commission, in fact, 21 research and innovation funding bodies (mainly members of the JPI Urban Europe) have decided to allocate € 25 million to support 15-20 transnational RDI projects. The call is in the planning phase and is expected in mid-December 2019.
The consultation is open until October 23, 2019 to obtain feedback on the draft content and in particular on the 6 topics currently identified as possible topics of the announcement:
- Challenge 1, on integrated approaches and solutions
- Challenge 2, on the impacts on sustainability and access for all
- Challenge 3, on the transformation of urban spaces and conflicts on space uses
- Challenge 4, on limiting vulnerability and enhancing resilience
- Challenge 5, on innovative policy options and coordination of the stakeholders
- Challenge 6, on behaviors and changes in the mobility practices
