On 22nd January 2018 the Mariana Mazzucato report was published Mission-Oriented Research & Innovation in the European Union – A problem-solving approach to fuel innovation-led growth. The paper describes the mission-oriented approach to research and the criteria that should guide the choice and implementation of missions to increase the impact of EU-funded research.
