On 11 January 2018, the European Commission published the Communication on the mid-term evaluation of Horizon 2020, in which it outlines its point of view on how to maximize the impact of the next Framework Program for research and innovation. The communication summarizes the main results of the mid-term evaluation of Horizon 2020 and identifies possible improvements and orientations for the future, essentially reflecting the recommendations of the High Level Group’s report chaired by Pascal Lamy.
