Two new international projects have been funded to the University of Brescia.
The “Open Doors: Promoting Inclusive and Competent Health Care for LGBTI People – OPENDOORS” project was funded under the “Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program” of the European Commission. The project was submitted to the European Union by Hatter Tarsasag as entity coordinator, with whom the University of Brescia participates as a partner, with principal investigator Dr. Giacomo Viggiani, a member of the Department of Law.
Ataxia UK Trustees, the leading national organization in the United Kingdom that provides support, information, advice, and funds research to find treatments for people affected by ataxia, has funded the “Non-invasive transcranial cerebellar stimulation: double-blind, randomized, sham-controlled study followed by an open label extension phase”research project. The project was submitted to Ataxia UK Trustees by the University of Brescia as Grant Holder, with principal investigator Prof. Barbara Borroni, belonging to the Department of Clinical and Experimental Sciences.
The total funding allocated to the projects amounts to € 71.826,00.
