This program is aimed to support creative research in the field of biology, lifesciences, related chemistry and information sciences.
The grant is offered to about 37 researchers in amount of JPY 1.0 million/researcher.
The period of the grant is one year. No expansion is allowed.
The grant is offered to the research to be carried out in Japan. The candidate must, in principle, have a doctorate (or is scheduled to obtain within the fiscal year concerned) and should be recommended by president or dean of faculty ofthe designated universities or director of the designated research institutes.
