Prof. Sergio Pecorelli, former Rector of the University of Brescia, was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement Award“, one of the most important international awards given to distinguished personalities who have distinguished themselves for professional merits in the field of gynecology.
The prestigious award will be given to prof. Pecorelli during the next “Annual Global Meeting of the International Gynecological Cancer Society” (Rio de Janeiro, 19-21 September), “for his dedication to pelvic cancer surgery, with original contributions in the field of conservative surgery for ovarian neoplasms, this award recognizes excellence, outstanding service and accomplishment spanning a career in gynecologic oncology “.
