The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes and the Novo Nordisk Foundation invite applications for their future leaders award programme. This supports clinical and basic scientists in transitioning from postdoctoral clinical fellow to a tenured faculty position in European diabetes research.
Applicants must have received their PhD or MD not more than 10 years before the start of the award and not yet holding a tenured academic faculty appointment. For clinicians holding more than one qualifying degree or with a clinical specialist degree or board certification, the time since the first degree may not exceed 12 years before the start of the award.
Grants are worth DKK 5 million each over five years.
