The BBVA Foundation Awards for Biodiversity Conservation seek to recognize and reward the work done by conservationist organizations, institutions and agencies in carrying forward environmental conservation policies and projects, and the efforts of communication professionals who have placed their abilities at the service of protecting our natural heritage.
Among the awards there’s only one category which can recevied applications from any country except Spain: The Biodiversity Conservation Projects Worldwide, with price money of 250,000 euros.
This award recognize the execution of projects, policies and/or activities of particular significance for the protection and conservation of habitats, species or ecosystems in any country except Spain, completed before December 31, 2022 or which have achieved concrete, proven benefits for biodiversity conservation in their area of work prior to that date.
