Shift2Rail – la Joint Undertaking sostenuta dalla Commissione europea e dall’industria ferroviaria europea – ha pubblicato la Call 2019 per sostenere la competitività dell’industria ferroviaria ed incontrare i bisogni in continuo mutamento nell’ambito dei trasporti a livello europeo.
La Call conta 18 topic di cui 6 aperti ai membri SR2 e 12 ai membri non JU, indicati di seguito:
- Integrated mobility management (I2M), Energy and Noise & Vibration
- Development of new technological concepts towards the next generation of rolling stock, applied to major subsystems such as Car body, Running Gear, Brakes, Doors, Modular interiors and HVA
- Completion of activities for enhanced automation systems (including Freight ATO GoA4), train integrity, object controller (IP2 and IP5).
- Intelligent asset management finalisation
- Smart, data-based assets and efficient rail freight operation
- S2R System Architecture and Conceptual Data Model
- Noise & Vibration
- Advanced Car body shells for railways and light material and innovative doors and train modularity
- Tools, methodologies and technological development of next generation of Running Gear
- Support to the development of technical demonstrators for the next generation of brake systems
- Demonstrator development for the use of Formal Methods in railway environment and Support to implementation of CSIRT to the railway sector
- Support to development of demonstrator platform for Traffic Management
- Future traction power supply for railways and public transport
- Complementary Travel Expert Services
- Condition-based and preventive maintenance for locomotive bogie
- Advanced obstacle detection and track intrusion system for autonomous freight train
- Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) for the railway sector
- Breaking language barrier
Il cofinanziamento H2020 indicativo reso disponibile da SR2 JU è 76.9 milioni di euro, con un valore dei progetti stimato di 150.3 milioni di euro.
