The Cooley’s Anemia Foundation invites letters of intent for its support for ongoing clinical research in thalassaemia. This enables investigators with ongoing clinical projects to address one or more of the following areas impacting patients with thalassaemia:
•cardiac issues and iron overload;
•fertility, pregnancy and family planning;
•quality of life, psychosocial impact or burden of disease.
Junior and senior faculty members worldwide may apply. Fellows and trainees are not eligible. The research may not be conducted at a for-profit laboratory.
Grants are worth USD 50,000 each for one year. Renewal for a second year of funding may be available.
